New Years Eve Outfit / Party Inspo

I will be staying in New Years Eve with the family but if I was going out I would wear this outfit. Glitter is always a good idea on New Year’s Eve, it’s festive and fun. I purchased this skirt from Winners a few years ago, I always say that sequins are a classic purchase. The sweater is from H&M in The Lambton Mall recently and adds a cozy casual vibe. In my 20s I probably would have paired this skirt with a top that shows more skin but in my 30s I need to be warm. The boots were $10 on JustFab. They are fabulous and as unpractical as they look and are saved for special occasions when I don’t need to do a lot of walking but don’t they just pull the whole look together in the most lovely way! Update on my JustFab subscription, I cancelled it because I couldn’t commit, I love shopping everywhere. I also needed new winter boots this year and the website didn’t have quality warm boots, I ended up getting Sorel’s from SoftMocs. I have said this a lot lately, but I am just having so much fun with my fashion, mixing it up, not caring if anything matches, piling stuff together and not taking things too seriously. If an outfit is a flop, I can wear something new tomorrow. For more outfit inspiration, check out my Instagram here.

So here is what I have planned for our New Years Eve, a little family party night. Snacks, check. Balloons, check (my kids love balloons). I might try to create a balloon ball drop like I found on Pinterest here. And minute to win it games like I found on Pinterest here. I normally don’t look forward to New Years Eve and have a bad attitude about it but this year I decided to make it my own, embrace it and enjoy it with my family. Lets party and watch the ball drop!

Here is a funny video from our New Years last year if you need a laugh. JEEPERS!

Happy New Year!

Love Audrey

What are you up to this New Years Eve?
