I was gifted this beautiful Salton Retro Kitchen Bundle a few weeks ago and am loving the way these appliances look and work in my kitchen. The pop of red in my mostly white and wood space adds personality and fun. They are quality items that work beautifully, I am so impressed with how quickly the kettle heats up.

A staple warm drink for us, all winter long is hot chocolate. I was sharing on Insta Stories about making some and Dayna responded with this delicious and quick recipe for making my own mix. She was right, it is much better than any store bought mix.

I love to enjoy hot chocolate in the afternoons or in the evening after coming in from a wintery walk or playing in the snow. The kids love it as an after school treat! Sometimes I also love to serve my hot chocolate with a little snack. My mom used to make me cinnamon sugar toast, it gives me all the good nostalgic vibes and now my children love enjoying this treat too. Simply butter your toast and sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar.
