When You Don’t See the Fruit, Ask God to Show You the Root 🍂🌱

Not every season looks like harvest.

Sometimes we show up, stay faithful, pour out, keep planting—yet we don’t see the fruit we hoped for. It’s easy to feel discouraged in those winter seasons, where everything feels still, quiet, and unseen.

But here’s the truth: God is always at work beneath the surface. And when the fruit isn’t visible, it’s time to pray, “Lord, show me the root.”

The root is the purpose, the why, the God-given assignment underneath it all. When you’re anchored to the root—His calling, His authority, His promise—you can keep going with peace and perseverance, even when the fruit hasn’t yet appeared.

God honors mundane consistency. The secret place. The daily “yes.” The obedience that no one claps for but Heaven records.

🪴 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
—Galatians 6:9

🌾 “They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”
—Psalm 1:3

🌱 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”
—John 15:5

If you're in a season of sowing, waiting, or wondering—don’t despise the hidden work. Ask the Lord to remind you of your root. He will renew your vision, restore your strength, and reignite your faith.

Your fruit is coming. Keep showing up. He sees it all. 💛
